December 4, 2017~ "The One Who Falls and Gets Up is so Much Stronger than the One Who Never Fell"

1.  Do you see Dar and Nola every Sunday?
Yeah we do and sometimes more during the week due to the fact that they live super close to us hahaha

2.  What did you have to do for this transfer week to help out?
I had to get cell phones ready for new areas, I cook the food for the new people, I help teach them and tell them the rules and responsibilities as a missionary.  I take pictures, I get the visas, I get all the pouch.  I help go get the missionaries from the CCM. I do most of the stuff .

3.  How are you guys promoting "Light the World"?
So we have put up banners all over the church, on President's car and other areas and we are going to be doing a concert so that we can sing.  We  will have a little movie night with the people in the Bosque de Chapultepec so we are doing things and I will explain what we did on Saturday

Yeah I clean some good shoes hahaha.  It was a good walk.  That's a really cool experience that you had Mom!!!  So what day do you want to talk?  We have the choice if we want to talk on Christmas or Christmas Eve???  Also Hermana Grossen is going to Utah so I might be giving her some things and if you want maybe you can meet her and you could send some things with her.

This week was a busy one due to the fact that it was the changes and we have to get everything ready for that but it was good because we got everything ready in time so we didn't have to stay up super late. First off, a good friend went home, Elder Garcia.  He got sick and so we had to take him to the airport which was sad.  He is a great Elder and will do great things later on in his life.  We also got in a lot of traffic so that was awful haha.  Something that we did was we went with President to Pachuca and we sung to Orphans.  We totally left the mission to do this but it was awesome and we gave them a bunch of waters and juices.  It was super fun and I had a blast.  We were there for a long time but totally worth it!

Today we had all the new missionaries come in and it was fun.  I got to help them out and I got to get them ready to go get out and work.  They are great kids and are going to do great things.!!!

That is all I can remember.  I can't think of anything else besides the fact that we played tennis so I will call it done.  Just know that I love you and hope that you guys have a great week!!!

November 27, 2017~Let Your Smile Change the World but Don't let the World Change Your Smile"

1.  How was your Thanksgiving?  Tell us about that day.
Well the day was awful haha because the whole day we were in the offices but that wasn't the bad part.  The bad part was the food.  It was awful.  It was like garbanzo beans.  It was terrible hahaha but that's alright cause we got a pie from President.

2. You said you had to teach the first aid merit badge.  Who did you have to teach it to?
We taught it to the Deacons haha.  They were crazy and didn't really pay attention but that is alright.

Last week was crazy with traffic and climbing on walls but that makes it fun!!! Mamey is super good.  I don't know how to describe it hahah.  Yeah the girls went crazy when they saw us... it was a little strange hahaha.  I talked about that to the primary as well. I taught about choosing the right and I gave my rings out to the Primary.

So my week wasn't anything insane but I'll highlight a few things that went down besides the Thanksgiving.  On Tuesday we had an activity where we shined shoes.  There are some pics I sent and well it was a blast.  We found a couple people that were willing to listen but they don't live in our area but thats ok.  So there was a ton of traffic after so we walked like 6 miles to get to the offices but the cool part is that we contacted all the cars on the way down and even the buses.  It was awesome.  I loved every minute of it.  We contacted over 120 people on that walk!!!!  On Wednesday we had to stay in the offices to help President with interviews so we got him a Thanksigiving gift which was a card from each missionary about how much they appreciate the Grossens.  It was cool.   After we went house shopping and it was super fun.  We found a couple of houses so we might be moving but we aren't sure.  On Thursday we did have pumpkin pie...it was good if you can see by the foto.
Friday we got to meet the new missionaries that are coming to our mission because they were doing there Visas and we were there helping a few missionaries renew there visas.  Saturday we broke out the Christmas stuff and put up the tree which was fun because now its Christmas time!!!!!  Sunday we had a really good late Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and everything it was awesome!!!!  Today we didn't do much... just cut our hair and took a nap haha.  So that was my week... nothing amazing but that is alright!!!!   Love you Mom!!!

November 20, 2017~"Sacrifice of Our Personal Agendas is Required to Make Room for the Eternal Plans of God"~Neill F Marriott

1.  What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Yeah so I think I will be eating with President that day

Thats just going to be weird coming back to the house now with cats.  Thats good that you are enjoying your time there in Cali
and now you know what Mexico is like with the honking and traffic.  Well that will be good for Stock to go to a pitching coach.

This week was a blast because we got to go out to the pueblos on Tuesday to Metepec and I got to go back to Centro and talk to a couple members there... it was cool.   We went to give shots and President took us to get some great tacos...they were so good. We got back super late but that was ok.  On Wednesday we went to Lerma and did the same thing but we went back early in a bus and well we were in traffic for 5 hours!!! Most of the time I was asleep!!!!  On Thursday we caught a spider which was awesome and we taught the first aid merit badge... yeah I'm a teacher now hahaha.  On Friday we had a meeting with President with the new missionaries and well it was a blast.  We made waffles and I got to help the new missionaries learn how to contact and gave them all advice on how to keep going in the mission.  Saturday I had to climb out of a four story window to get into another one... really scary because my comp got stuck in a room and I had to break him out... call me spiderman!!   We also had "mamey" which is like a workout drink but its a fruit and its super good!!!!  On Sunday we had 2 oclock am pizza because we were working late with Elder Lipscomb and Elder Bradley.  We also got to watch the face to face and it was super good... honestly I was laughing.  They are so funny!!!!

Today there was a conference and we were the hosts and servers and the hermanas were whistling... it was a little strange because we are missionaries but it was a blast hahah and they really deserve it and then after that we had a basketball game with Presidnet and with a couple of jovenes (youth).. it was fun!!!!   So that was my week.  Know that I am grateful for everything you do and have done for me... it is a fun time having you as my mom.  I love our fam and everything that goes with it.  I love you guys a bunch!!!

November 13, 2017~"Challenges are at times an Indication of the Lord's trust in You"~ D. Todd Christofferson

1.  So are there lots of food places and stores where you are at?
Yeah so we are in the center of the city so there is everything

2.  You said you were going to be giving shots to the missionaries...so are they the flu shots?  You get one too? Hopefully :)
Yeah they are flu shots and I have given them to the missionaries and I also got mine haha

3.  You said you were in an English Ward so why is there an English Ward?  Why not Spanish?
We have a Spanish and an English Ward.  The English Ward is the only one in the whole city and so we go there just to be the missionaries there but we have a Spanish Ward too

Yeah I am enjoying this position.  It is cool and the tie factory was great!  The pancho was awesome.  I'm glad we got to go there hahaha.  Oh gosh mom we don't need newcomers!!!!  Sounds like fun in the Temple!!!!  So for me I was traveling around and giving shots!!!! It was fun and the people were scared but after they saw that I actually do a good job they were happy!!! Its fun to do it too!!!!  We have been working really hard in the offices trying to get all the stuff ready and its a lot of stuff.  We are trying to make President look good haha.

This week we are doing the same thing as we are going to be traveling still with President and his wife and well its just fun!!! I got my shoes shined today which was fun and the other pictures are of the shots hahaha.  We have a problem with a Visa and so we have to hope and pray nothing happens so she can get home on time.  So thats been my week... not something super exciting besides the fact that we have been on the road and that we have been giving shots so yeah...I love you!!!
